LS Motors

Does anyone know how much power/boost the LS1 (2,6) motors will safely make with stock internals?

umm, my buddies got an LS1, putting out around 600 to the wheels. don't think that the stock internals are worrying him, hes freaking more more about the plastic intake.. Everytime he ups the boost, he's afraid he'll blow the apart intake apart, he already blew out one pressure disc in it.
