LS2 Vette

Ran a LS2 Vette yesterday. I'm fairly sure it was a A4 car. I seen him coming up pretty quick and I get out of his way, since I was going "slow" (80MPH) in the fast lane. As he passed, he tossed out a rev. I downshift to 3rd and got behind him and Im glued to him pretty good. We go up to about 130 and shut down. He was out ahead a bit since he had the momentum. We slowed back down to 80 and I downshifted to 3rd again and motioned for him to go, and he waves me off as if it wasn't worth his time. So I put it in 4th and was going to pull away. As I am trying pulling away, I see him in my right side mirror, he's staying right with me. So I downshift to 3rd and nail it again, perfect timing, we stayed neck and neck. Truth be told he maybe put a few inches on me. We shut down at 140 and gave him a thumbs up and he waves me off again. By this time we're doing 60 and I downshift to 2nd wave his ass goodbye. That was a fun run. I don't understand why people are such A-holes!

Well, if he wanted to see what one of these trucks can do, you gave him a personal tutorial. I love the wave off, like he really didn't try. And if you were as close together as you say, well, tonight when he looks under the covers, His little turtle head may have gone back inside his shell! P.S. 130. Public roads? WOW. I ran with a Vette today too, and got my ass handed to me. I was without my Stage II flash. He had a stick and we went up to about 125, until we caught up to traffic. How do you teel if it is a Z06?

1st indicator is the "Z06" badge on the fender!

Indeed. He asked for it I guess. He waved at me like "Go away little fly, you're not worthy of my time" kinda crap. I will admit, he pulled me, but it wasn't by much. He inched out on me on the top end. It wasn't a public road, it was :cough: a private test track. . . Yeah! Thats it! Private test track!

oldguy and boz, you have two too many doors!! Even still, a C6 Z is amazing! I would love to able to outrun one of them one day!

Before I traded my truck I ran a new C6 LS2. We started at about 60mph and went pretty much neck and neck up to 140.
