I have been experience a strange noise will plugging along at 60mph in 6th gear. My "tranniechanic" called it "lug rattle" meaning the transmission is protesting being in such a low rpm under load. I can't really describe the noise, not really metal on metal or anything. It isn't loud either, if I have the radio on or someone is talking I cannot hear it.
It operates normally in lower gears/higher rpms.
Anyone else get this ? ( noisy transmission at high gear at low rpm/speed):dontknow:
