Well I took my DR's to get them rebalanced. I have had a very noticeable vibration with these since I bought them (used), but it has gotten worse with every pass I have made on them. Well come to find out the reason it's gotten worse was because I noticed my calipers were shaving my weights. So when I got them rebalanced the guy said it should help but the tires themselves have a hop to them. He said sometimes this happens with old tires. So I'm hopefully going to run them again in a few weeks but if they're still causing vibration I'm going to have to buy brand new ones in the spring as these are vibrating bad enough that they are definitely creating enough drivetrain drag to probably rob me of a mph or two on the top end! Has anyone else ever experience this? Just sucks to shit-can these tires as they only have about 20 passes on them between me and the previous owner combined.

I had the weight shaving prob but not the out of round issue.....that I know of. Mine seemed smooth the first couple of passes then got worse FAST. Got home and saw a couple ounces ripped off each side. Had them static balanced to see if that would avoid them being ripped off but havent been to the track yet to see.

Send me your M&Hs and I will test them out. I can tell from here they are no good, I'll just keep them so I don't have to ship them back. :D

I prolly should. The 1200 hp I am now putting down with these new walmart stickers aint gonna hook on DRs anyways. Gonna need full slicks and tubbed.

I just had mine static balanced as well, we'll see if that helps enough. Either that or I need to bite the bullet and buy new. If thats the case, anyone know my options for wheels that have the right offset so I'm not totally covering the side of my truck with rubber?

i flung shit into the cab and it stuck to the dash:D

but there are NO tires that will fit under the truck that are the correct width (10-12" wide) you can put them on 17x8 steelies and they'll tuck under the truck... but you're loosing some of the contact patch, so it's a tradeoff. still better than street tires, though.
