The reason I'm selling these tires is that I'm running out of gear in 4th w/ the 150 shot in. They are 28" tall and will take a 2004 RC's .410 gear ratio lower upwards of .456-.488. These tires are perfect gearing for my runs on motor and put me through the traps in 4th gear at 5,200 RPM at 108mph. They work well with a stock truck or modded w/ air intake, headers, exhaust and flash. I would not recomend these tires to anyone planning on supercharging or adding more than a 100 shot of NOS as you will most likely run out of gear in 4th before the traps. I have 18 passes on the tires and guestimate a little better than 50% tread left on them. I got them from M&H for $190 per tire and will sell both for $200 o.b.o. These will fit on a 17 X 10" wheel with no grinding of the calipers required for install. These tires hook decent enough to cut a 1.8 60foot time.

Others may agree here that this is one of the best if not THE BEST way to improve 1/4 mile times. Not only will your traction and 60 foot improve but the lower gearing fromt the shorter than stock drag radial is also a great improvement. In a sense you are getting traction and gears all in one $200 package. Try and match that!

I am dying to mount the bigger ones up and I'll have those on Fri or Sat this week and I want to go run on Sunday. If I still have them by then and you are serious about trying them I'll swap them back over for the GTG so you can test and tune!:rock:

i didn't get your PM about the tires. you want mine already.....you haven't even burnt up the last ones I sold you! Keep in mind these are only the tires....no rims.....they mayyyyy fit on the wheels I sold you i don't know for sure we could always try! the tires are 10" wide and I think the wheels I sold you are 8 or so. Keep in touch....you coming to bradenton???
