M/H Shipping advice needed.

I'm trying to ship 2 M/H radials to canada. The quote I got UPS was 150$ PER TIRE!

Anybody ever shipped these, got any advice on where to go?

Did you go into the ups store and have them pack them?
Dont try and box them cover the front and back of the wheel with 1/4 plywood etc.. card board to weak so if that's all you have use a few pieces on each side. So with the rim covered tape the hell out of them. Try fedex most of the time its cheaper.

I think I would look ate shipping on like yellow frieght or something like that. That price is crazy look at fedex too

I think they can ship them just wraped around the tread with cellophane and a shipping label, thats how I got mine shipped to me from florida, and I agree try fedex

i went ups, but it ain't cheap to send tires/wheels anywhere.......

My tires came from M&H rolled in to about half their tread width and taped together...

If its just the tires. Squish them toghether like they where shipped when I got mine it looked like one big tire. Just a thought.

Unfortunatley I agree! I have shipped a few things to Canada and they raped my ass. UPS has been a big money sucking biatch lately and I swear their costs have tripled. Don't think there will be a CHEAP way to get them there.:dontknow:

I feel your pain man, I was going to give a member 2-used BFGs. I got a quote of $125.00 ea. to ship them. Hell i can't even afford to give them away at that price.:dontknow:
