MAC HELP OR SUGGESTIONS

I Currently have a
24 IMAC Running 10.6.8
2.8 GHZ INTEL CORE 2 DUO.

I dont know if this info is relevant to my questions so here it is.

I am looking into trying back up some dvds.
Any suggestions to what the latest software to use might be.
I used to use handbrake and something else I dont remember the name.
I was looking online earlier and there is just so much crap out there.
So any advice or info would be great.

You must be think "Mac the Ripper" it is free. Get yourself an older windows based computer for ripping dvd's . Not much out there for the mac

BUT you have found a weakness to the almighty Mac!! expand your horizon! there are more than one language in the world and i think that makes it a better place!!

Run Parallels, burn DVD's using windows. Then use plex or something as the front end to play them. That's what most of the guys at work are doing. I can find out what software they are using if you want to go that route.
