How is it that I can drive my truck 1500 miles up the east coast, and not one single scratch, chip or ding. I get here, and bam!!

Looks like you caught a rock right on the fog light edge. Either that or a really hard bug. Yeah, it's madening but it can be fixed. Sorry it happened.

You would think something that big, that did that much damage, and I would have heard it. :dontknow:

But I didn't hear a thing. I haven't even driven fast enough to get that kind of damage in a week! I am not convinced that it wasn't either the landscapers that run around here, or a grocery cart!

Your right, it was me.... i came by your house and took a rock and scraped
your driver side fog light hole thingy.. i tried to write sharpi but the rock was
too blunt.. :dontknow: hahahahaha.. j/k

But seriously, something that small you wouldn't have heard.. unless it was a
persons fingers or something.. probly just some rocks on the highway... got
caught in somones grooves and spun out and hit your truckk.. sorry to see
that though.. :( Just take some spray paint all will be well

Ouch!!! That sucks man. That made my butt-hole pucker up. :(

I caught one in the CENTER of my fog light a while back!! I've yet to fix it. I'm thinking if replacing them with something brighter now. . . I just haven't made up my damn mind.

the light... i took off the bottom panel the other day to put clips on my
lower grille (because they were getting pushed in) and the fog light is
three bolts i think... realllyy easy install

I did. I was IRATE when I seen it. Its been like that for several weeks. I always run my fogs, day or night. I noticed in the reflection of a vehicle in front of me one day and only the driver's side was operating. I got home to inspect it and found that. :(

I'm sure its easy to get to, but I'm thinking of "modding" it. Hell, I can't leave shit alone. :D

well get to it some of us would like to know.

Our fog lights were put directly in the path of destruction. Do yourselves a favor and don't to anything too expensive to replace them. Right now that I'm on light #3... I'm considering mounting them like trophies.:D

I think I would rather have had this happen. Easy to fix.

Don't make me post a pic of MY front bumper on here.... :D ;) (Looks like a photo head-shot for Edward James Olmos.  )

That sucks, man. :( But, there are some great "touch-up" services out there right now. You don't have to repaint the WHOLE bumper anymore. :dontknow: :)

Damn Scott, that sux. Sorry to see that happen to ya, after how meticulate you keep your truck. I know your pissed as hell, but it can be fixed without too much incident. Hang in there, and it will be a memory before you know it.

Roz- I had the same thing happen, same side too. Direct shot to the lens of the fog lamp. F-ing construction/cinders.

They're about $86 ea. from Dragon.
The easiest way to get to them is to pull off the wheel well liner (wheel removal is optional). Trust me on that. :)

Oh- and be careful: There are parts on the old one (back mount bracket) that you will need to transfer to the new one. Don't just pitch the broken one in the trash.
