Our fog lights were put directly in the path of destruction. Do yourselves a favor and don't to anything too expensive to replace them. Right now that I'm on light #3... I'm considering mounting them like trophies.:D

Yuck. Thanks for the heads up! I hope mine doesn't get raped again.

I think I would rather have had this happen. Easy to fix.

As others have stated, touch is FAIRLY simple.

Take advantage of your insurance. Get the highest quote in town and say someone damaged it in a parking lot and see if your uninsured motorist insurance will cover it. On mine, its only a $50 deductable, I think. :)

Roz- I had the same thing happen, same side too. Direct shot to the lens of the fog lamp. F-ing construction/cinders.

They're about $86 ea. from Dragon.
The easiest way to get to them is to pull off the wheel well liner (wheel removal is optional). Trust me on that. :)

Oh- and be careful: There are parts on the old one (back mount bracket) that you will need to transfer to the new one. Don't just pitch the broken one in the trash.

Thanks, I probably would have pitched in the trash without looking. :)

ntwOrk, are you sure it wasn't caused by an angry chicken? I got a damn rock chip too.. But I am waiting for my new hood before I commence with painting to get rid of little things like the rock chip that seems to accumulate in time. Be ready for more anger as your truck picks up little imperfections that probably only you will notice.:dontknow:
