Manual QC SRT10

would have been easier and cheaper to just convert a QC to manual...........what were they thinking???
 
looks like they are lying to potential customers that its not a stock qc with motor and trans swap out of a junk yard thats what the engine looks like
 
I emailed the dealer about some concerns, this is what they replied with:

Thank you for your interest in the Viper truck. It is truly a unique
vehicle.
Let me answer both your emails:
- motor has never been off frame or outside
-frame lenghten with frame section for QC
-truck with exact piece factory used for QC trucks
-Barbee's welding did this with a beautiful job. You would never guess it
was not factory!
-everything is bone stock with only 68K miles.
-few QC did come with 6 speed.

If you are a true VIPER fan just as we are you will be mostly impresses by
this truck.
I have several people interested in it. If you really want it I hope you
will be the one to get it.

What an idiot, tell him to join our group so we can stone him to death.....A FEW QC's CAME WITH A MANUAL????? AND IF YOU WERE A "TRUE" VIPER FAN...........

That made my tummy hurt......from LMAO....:p .....dang, you better hurry and buy it before somebody grabs it...LOL..
 
there was a guy in fayetville nc that changed his manual to a auto, did a nice job too.
truck ran really well:rock:

one of the main deals with the auto to a manual is its gonna put some strss on the cluthc , but as long as you do the upgrades it shouldnt be problem.

it would be a killer fun factor, but honestly I would think it would slo the truck down a bit in the quarter unless you are a driver like trainman,

its alot of work an $$ jsut to have something unique;)
 
I might be bringing up an old myth, but didn't 06 QCs come with a heavy duty frame? They only stretched a RC frame, so that would be an issue also. This is a Frankenstein Truck!

Yea, I got the info I need to put it on the registry, it will still go up as a RC with.......Major Mods :eek: Looking at the photo's are heart breaking.

There's a guy here in Utah looking for a Manual QC, I sent him the link and he laughed. not that it was a RC converted to a QC, the thing that got him was the cloth back seats and the motor that looked like it had sat outside in the mud for 2 years. For the life of him, he couldn't rationalize less than 7k in mileage and a motor that looked like it was 50 years old.... and thos damn cloths seats.......Yikes

i got a reply about the motor, he said they are cleaning as he speaks, and will send me pics tomorrow

Also he said about the exhaust tips they need to send it out to somewhere to fix it

no wonder he wants 33k, the new buyer has to pay the repair bill :banghead:
 
His e-mail was worded like one of those e-mail's I get telling me I just won $500,000,000,000,000,000,000 in Nigerian fish dollars. I keep meaning to get that check in the mail for the processing fee.:)
