Has anybody changed out the automatic to a manual transmission in the Quad, my understanding is that it would increase the power to the tires by 15%?????

The losses to the rear wheels on a stick shift RC are about 17-18%, the losses on a QC automatic are about 20-22%.

If your only objective is hp to the rear wheels just buy a Stage II pcm flash for about $400. That'll pretty much put you equal to a RC in rwhp.

I am getting about 660 HP before the final tune to the wheels, That is with 2 lbs of boost, the system is designed to run at 10 to 12. (been working on this project for a year). I have had a custom suspension built by extreme in CA. Handles great and hooks up good, now am trying to get the final power out of the engine to the tires..
Thanks for the link to the other thread.
