May need a new fuel pump.

Recently my truck has been turning over but not wanting to start then if I wait a second it fires up. I am thinking my fuel pump is intermittently going in and out. I found the part number 5134555aa and the only place I can find it is at the dealer for 294.00 Does anyone know if I could find it cheaper somewhere else? I hate to spend that much especially if I am not positive that it is my fuel pump that is causing the truck not to start but I can't imagine what else it could be.

Check with Roe and Justin...both sell Mopar and after-market parts...........Stinker may be able to get one too...

There is a fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail, the next time that it does not start, turn the key on and pop the hood. Take the cap off, and press the shrader down, gas should come out at pressure, if not then your fuel pump is not pumping...
