Maybe it’s a Tumor . . . Maybe not

Turtle, I had some problems with my pituitary gland a few years back and they did all the tests and stuck me with needles to do a biopsy. Real pain in the ass (or neck lol). Anyway. it turned out to be nothing. They couldnt find anything and concluded it was anxiety and stress. Well that didnt help me either. I was(years ago) a real hypocondriac and read medical manuals day and night. So Ii guess what I am getting at, dont stress on it. And make sure that the drs know what the fu-k they are doing and talking about.
Good luck man

Hang in there Alex :D You have a good man behind you  I just hope you have found a good Dr. :dontknow: Our prayers are with you ...

Well it looks like we may have found out what is wrong. We will know more in a few days. One thing is for sure, Florida doctors are not very good.

We will post more when we know for sure.

Bill.

Well, I just wanted to let everyone know (for those interested) that I may be out for a couple of days. We have found out (kinda) what may be causing some of my problems.

I am going in for surgery on Wednesday (female stuff I'm sure most of you guys really aren't interesting in getting into :p). I have to do surgery prep tomorrow which I may or may not be in the mood to be social. I am not able to eat any food and am only allowed clear liquids all day :( . At this time, the doctor does not know if it will be a simple out patient procedure or a more serious surgery requiring an overnight stay.

I'm sure once I'm back home, I will not be in any condition to do anything other than rest in bed. I'm hoping to be moving around by Friday.

I know there is still something wrong beyond that, but I have to wait until I have regular insurance to start that mess. My female problems do not explain my headaches, neck problems, slight fevers, and vertigo I keep experiencing.

Through out everything, Billy has been absolutely wonderful & supportive. Thank you Billy for everything! I love you very much!

I'm sure he'll let you all know how I'm doing.

So those that have his number - bug him Wednesday or Thursday! He may need the break from dealing with my issues :p :p

:D :D

Plenty of excuse to be pampered for a day or two-and a good excuse to eat ice cream at noon! Oh...you're up north now, make that a hot fudge sunday! :marchmellow: Love you guys and speedy recovery.

Have they done an MRI? If so, have they considered or looked for Arnold Chiari Syndrome? Only half a percent of the population would have this condition and it is typically overlooked.

Good luck with your procedure.
