I figured I would post this for a laugh after reading FatJacks oil change story.
I posted a little while back about getting ripped off by a Mazda dealership in the form of $124 on a car fully covered under warranty. $124 was for taking a rag and wiping oil off the car from an OIL leak mind you.
Car has on oil leak, not anything I did, that was the reason for the charge.
Ok, after my first post we took the car on a 300 mile round trip to Washington DC. The dick wad dealership wiped all of the oil down just before the trip. Upon our return I pulled the under cover off and low an behold it was showing signs of leaking already. Figured, shit this is easy, any Moron can see it is leaking, I'll take it down there and get my money back.
Nope. Wrong!! Took it to the morons and had a mechanic (yes, a mechanic) and some douche in a shirt and tie under the car with me on the lift. These two assholes first told me there was no leak (mind you there is oil dripping from around a bolt head on the back of the oil pan and running down the trans case). Then after questioning them on their retarded conclusion they told me it was normal seepage. I said great, then why did you charge me $124 if this is normal seepage? (Ever hear when they play the crickets?) The car only has 300 miles on it, by the time it hits 3000 the seepage will be all over the F'n place like it was when I brought it in here. That made too much sense so they could not figure that one out. (Again the crickets were chirping)
Next was they came up with a cracked oil filter housing because I was too lazy to go get one of the socket type filter wrenches you use with a socket wrench and used the regular band type. It slips a little and scuffs the plastic housing so that was there next thing to blame. So I said fine (housing is only $14) I bought the housing and replaced it to eliminate that BS excuse. It is not cracked by the way, so that is another thing I am going to bitch about.
Now I have to take it back next Friday and the district rep is supposed to be there. I am not going to be nice about this at all (I have been so far but now I am really pissed). They are F'n lying pieces of shit. And if that mechanic really thinks what he told me is the problem he needs to find a new job because he's an idiot and I wouldn't even considering letting him work on my kids toy lawn mower besides anything with an actual engine in it.
Plain and simple they got caught trying to rip someone off. Hopefully I don't get locked up.
