Memorial Day Weekend

Wells its the start of the summer season with this holiday. So lets make a toast to our military brothers whom are busting their ass's for not enough pay, working and living in shithole conditions and dont seem to ever complain about it. Cheers my friends!!

Now fire up those grills, fill those coolers with beers, shine those trucks, do what you do when you have a 3 day weekend. I am excited. This is my first holiday since News Years Day!!

I was working on the Cobra today and got called into work. They were working to the wrong drawing and wondered why the parts did not look like the drawing they had.

I'm still on call until 10:00 PM tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow they will not need to call me.

And in regard to this being the start of the Summer season? Not in the Festering Shit Hole. While today is nice, nine out of the next 10 days call for showers. The one day it's not calling for showers, it's still cloudy.

I'm spending the weekend getting caught up with honeydo,s..
But this date means alot to me personaly,Back in 73,I was stationed at Holmstead AFB and I will always remember seeing alot of the guys still returning back from Nam,Most,not too lucky.
