Last night the wife and I went out to a local cruise in. I had heard about a FAST blue Viper from my connection at the Dodge dealer. So we are walking around looking at cars and I hear a car coming in that has a sound all its own. I see the tag as it goes around and parks,1FSTSNK. My wife and I walk around and meet him and of course I start asking questions. Its a Gen II engine, had cast pistons, ported factory heads, cam was ground by comp cams .606 lift, around 235@ .050 on 114 centerline. Specs on the cam are approximate, anyway this thing with a 150 shot ran a 10.1@135 at the V10 nationals in Florida a couple of years ago. Fastest pass on a cast piston motor at that time. Since then he has put forged pistons in it and changed some other stuff but still has the stock clutch in it. Very nice guy and his car sounded awesome, that is the sound I want from a cam change.
