Today, on Hwy.24/27. A sweet black RC. He rolled his window down and wanted to know if my lowering kit was from Boomer. Everyone knows Boomer! Anyway, we exchanged screen names, and I couldn't hear him, so if it was you, please respond.

Me Niether, wish I had a lowered truck though!! Hey, Ron did you have any problems with your truck lid bending underneath the wing??? Mine is bent, but I was exceeding the posted speed limit!!!:(

Yep, that's the one thing we didn't talk about. I found that if you really try to torque down on the bolts holding the wing on, the lid bends under pressure, especially if the bolt holes in the wing are somewhat recessed Does that make sense? In other words, if the holes are not absolutely flush with the bottom of the wing, the lid will have a tendancy to rise up--looking bent.

Solution? Try to loosen the bolts slightly, but obviously not loose enough to allow wing movement. I had plenty of "wiggle" room, as I always try to overtighten everything. Call me if it doesn't work.
