Unforgiven III  Jesus Christ i love this band! Wallmart $8 You owe this to yourself!

Not a fan of Unforgiven 3 but "Throne of Ivory" is AWESOME! The album is definitely worth buying or, as in my case, downloading (sharing)... Kinda funny too since Metallica caused a huge stink a few years ago about it!

If your a new metallica fan you will be disappointed. If you want thrash metal, with insane solo's and psychotic metronome this is your cd' I think Day that never comes, and Unforgiven iii fufills the need of easy listening while still getting your metallica fix. That is, easy for the first 2-3 minutes. Then of course james, lars, kirk and rob, with wild abandon, pull pentatonic scales from the air making absolute noise into artistic, musical, wizardry,
Every song each ove them get there own moments of solo fame.

Somehow James got his voice back with a demon-rasp that wakes the part of your soul the instrumentals cant touch. 1995 metallica dropped tune a half step to e flat and st anger was even lower. 27 years of sceaming performances has not weakend his voice, its matured it. The band has not compensated for James voice they have used it to an advantage. Death Magnetic Has a deep grunge that stirs you. And i cant believe the musical scales! James takes this abrasive, deep voice and interlaces it with polished guitar riffs. Its as smoothly articulated as S&M!

AND MY GOD! He recorded the whole album in one day, one session! Fingers bleading and coughing blood, they had to have been!

In all honestly, i must say Warner Brother fuk'd this up though. The lyrics, richness of tone in his, and unbelievable range of the riffs, W/B Slaughtered the recording. Its distorted. If you have loud or bass boost on your unit, cut it off. The CD cannot handle anymore equalization. CD's have a max recording volume, and WB recorded it so (loud) (the stadium or hall effect) it cuts off alot of the deep lows and highs to compensate for it and it loses its richness.

Im hoping they can implement blue-ray to the music industry.

BlueRay Music

TrondheimSolistene (The Trondheim Soloists) is one of Norway's most exciting young ensembles and they're celebrating their 20th anniversary with a recording that is said will surpass anything you've ever heard before in sheer sound quality. They will be bringing their recording to eager listeners on the world's very first Blu-ray music disc. With the sheer capacity for incredible sound sampling, the developers of this disc are boasting that every instrument in the ensemble is so clearly placed in the sound that you can actually envision each individual musician playing. The recording itself is set in the Selbu church in Norway, for its acoustic nature and offers a distinct, unique quality.

umm where did you hear they recorded the album in one day let alone one session? :dontknow: it took over two years to complete.

There's still a bad taste of ST. Anger on this new album and I kind of like how they added a little "black sabath" on Unforgiven III with the piano.
