Meth Injection ?

Questions for you ROE meth injectors.

Does your meth activation light pulse? Mine seems to be pulsing as if it is going on and off very quickly. It only does this under WOT. I was just wondering if it is supposed to be "pulsing", or if it should be steady on.

I think mine is a steady green when its on. I dont remember a pulsating signal.

I called ROE this morning, because I noticed a variation depending on how deep in the throttle I was.

They replied that what I saw was normal, and nothing to worry about.

Yes, normal - depends on how much you are injecting. ramps up thru the RPM band and throttle position, if you look at your VEC software you can see how Sean has it metered out.

You can also use the test button to see the light on full. Just remember you will be injecting with the button, it's more of a primer button.

Pulse @ WOT?!

It should be solid @ WOT as -12v is being activated @ full PSI. (at least it should be)

As stated by bone, hold the Primer button for a couple second and see if it stays on solid.

If you look at the program, it is never 100% duty cycle on the injector. I don't have it with me, but I believe it goes up to around 66%.

I would recommend it...none of the light-ramp bs... 100% when your getting to max tq. Mine is 100% from 7-10spi.

Cut back the 91/93 octane and ramp in the meth, unless your super conservative, 66% at max psi your definitely not taking advantage of a water / meth system. Its like buying a octane booster and using 66% of the bottle and saving the rest for later. Use 100% and tune for it....its free HP; or at least set aside another tune.

100% through the entire band would be 'relying' on it too much imo, not taking into account fuel distribution issues. Having it on at 50-75% of your max boost will be much more beneficial especially on our roe setups where no intercooler is used, just liquid cooled.

We do not want to increase the meth to 100% as we need the water for cooling, but on the other hand want the meth for the octane, so 50/50 is perfect. If I had a intercooler setup, I would give 70m/30w a shot and record my intake temps / timing / and knock / inj. duty.
