Meth/Nitrous Questions

ok this thread isn't for all you old hippys!;) :rock: :rock: anyway on to my questions.... i'm wondering how spraying nitrous mixed with a water/meth kit would do...... would it still help in reduceing the chance of detnation? and what would you tune it with my nitrous kit will be on it's on switch and progressive controler. but i'm just tring to picture this in my head..... i will have a built nitrous motor will be spraying around a 200-a 275 shot will meth help it out any? or would i just be wasteing my money?

choose one or the other, use nos at the strip and use the meth/water on the street.
 
well i was thinking water/meth would be a good choice when i don't have n20 all the time.. with the water meth you can bump up the timing correct?

Yes and with your motor being built you wont have to retard timing as much even with nos. I know the tune sean wrote for me I can use meth or my 150 shot so I am guess they are very close I know using meth the same time will defeat the purpose of the nos. but after I get my motor done I am hooking up the meth for the street and my nos at the track so really worth it if you dont have the meth kit especially in the summer time.
 
You can bump the timing for meth. Think of meth as a cheap inter-cooler. It is not so much a power adder as it is a power keeper. The meth lowers the air temp going into the intake. Lower temps means more power available. Like the difference of driving around in 90 degree weather versus 50 degree. You can adjust the timing but not much.
