METH use???

I think I miss understood a longtime member's instructions regarding the use of meth in the truck. Is there a reason to run a gallon of meth in a tank of gas??? I have to admit alot of beer was involved and I probably did not interpret the slurrrs very well. Is there a reason for it... gain, loss, blow up the engine? Sorry, I've looked thru the forum... Didn't find anything.:dontknow:

The purpose of Water/Methanol injection is to cool the air at the intake. Methanol injection is used at WOT to cool the air coming into the engine to inhibit detonation.

He is adding the Roe twin screw top mount supercharger. The meth injection will permit at least 3 degrees more timing...that will be where the hp gain will be achieved.
