Military (Active and Ret)

Don't know if you have heard but Disney is offering a free 5 day pass for all Active and Ret Military. You can also buy up to 5 extra tickets for family or friends at $99 for 5 days. There are 2 good deals that I know of for hotels. Shades of green is a Military only Disney resort. Price of room depends on rank. They fill up early so plan ahead. Another is the Armed Forces Vacation Club. It's a club but there are no fees to join and you can view what's available on line at http://www.afvclub.com/ . You can go space A for $329 for 7 nights.

The Discounts worked. Still quite expensive however.

All of the resorts were packed. Hard to imagine Spring Break or Summer vacation there. Way too many people with too little rides per person.

2 hour wait to see Toy Story show. Try keeping a 4-year old in control for 2 hours standing still!
