ok well i will be getting an RV, trading in the ram, and in the spring i will be getting a GTS. i have spent a bunch of time thinking this thru.
the payment of $560 a month for the ram will allow me to spend 60,000 more for the rv. i will attempt to over finance the RV for 30,000 more than asking price. then buy the gts in may.
i will be able to go to Pocono with the gts where the ram is not allowed.
i will be able to tow it to the track with the rv.

i think this is the correct choice given the options.
what do you think?

its like this, an rv in nada retails for 100K. the bank will finance 80% of retail.
the asking price is 50k, there is your 30k.

I was kinda cramped in one, im 5'11" 150lbs. The placement of the pedals is awkward and you have to have little feet to drive it.

Good luck, I've done this before with a LQ racecar trailer and it worked out for me at the time. Financing companies will work with you if you find the right one.
I've been pining over a viper car for a while now. If you found one for $30k you found a great deal. I can't find any under $40k but I'm looking at '03 and newer.

i have seen some on ebay with the same 8.3 for under 30k.
i almost bought one until i tried to insure it. if i pay cash for it and use it on the track then there is no need for insurance.

as far as size, i may have to find one to sit in. i am 300lbs and 6 foot tall.
the lotus is option 2. prefer a viper over the lotus as i like a v-10 over a toyata 4 banger. i also want to go 200 again, as i miss it.

Its not the height that id be worried about, its the width. When you sit in it you have to shift your legs to the left to be on the pedals, kinda uncomfortable and very awkward. But other than that its the best car ive ever driven. I will own one, a Final edition is the first viper i ever drove and my favorite.

no way on god's green earth you'll fit in a lotus (i'm assuming you mean the elise/exige)...i'm 5'10" and 185....and it's borderline uncomfortable to even get into....when i sit down in the seat, it's ok...fits tight, but it's designed for the track....i can open the door and palm the road....

Yes! I use to drive an '85 300ZX. I tried to get into a Viper SRT-10 and couldn't even get into the seat. Could not contort myself in any way to get in. But I'm abnormally tall. Doesn't Derrick (Strongman) drive one? I've found with vehicles you can't always go by the demensions on a page. You have to go try it on and see how it fits.

the viper or the lotus...

even my 3000 vr4 was a bitch to get in and out of when i was using it as a DD....but compared to the lotus they're all about twice the size...but once you're inside, it how comfortable you want to be...if you're really only gonna track it...it doesn't have to be comfortable...
