Everytime I grab my Hurst shifter..I recall back to a younger time of American muscle cars, leaded 102 octane and a certain lady by the name of Linda Vaughn aka "Miss Hurst Golden Shifter".

Especially during the 60's and into the 80's she was often seen at racetracks, drag strips and in numerous hot rod magazine ads. With her Playboy model looks, white go-go boots and a winning smile, she caused men to  on themselves.

Last I heard she is still around..now promoting I believe for GMC.

i was an instant fan of Miss Hurst:rock::D

got to meet her once:D

took my son to his first car show, the AutoRama here in Dallas.

kept tellin him to stay by my side, over & over.

got inside & lookin at the program to see where to start, looked down & guess what, lol.

went up & down isles. asked where the lost kids were taken. went upstairs & turned down a hall & there he was, in the arms of Miss Hurst, right against her left tit.

like most everything else. she is way mo pretty up close. great sense of humor. got us both settled down & laughin. very sharp lady.

even took my son on stage with her. she gave him a goody bag. best car show i have been to:rock::D

Yes she is still around. I see her every year at the California Hot Rod Reunion in Bakersfield. If you live close to or can Fly in this is The Race for Nostalgia Fans. Just about every Living Legend attends this event in October every Year.
