The Tubes were/are great. I would still like to see them even though Vince is gone. I did hear that he was working with Fee some before he died. I wish this thread would have been up last week, I just did some looking and found that they played on Sunday in Ojai, which I rode right past on that day on my way home from Santa Barbara.

Best Tubes show I ever saw was on this farm outside of Jacksonville NC. They used to have festivals there every year, and the Tubes headlined one year. Somehow I convinced some people that I was supposed to be working backstage (though I had lost my shoes, was 1/2 covered with mud, had a head full of acid, and was a jarhead LOL). That was when I first met Vince. Ahhh, the good old days hehehehe.
