I organized a mock car crash this year for our high school since prom is this Friday. The actors were drama class students and did an outstanding job! We simulated a drunk driving roll-over accident. One student was arrested, two were seriously injured and one student was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene. The dead students' mother then pulled up on the mock wreck and went crazy! (all in the plan) She made it so real! I really think it had an impact on the students. Most of them were crying. The effect I was going for. Here are some pics. I am in the white polo shirt with turn-out gear pants on.

And since I organized this whole thing, I thought it was appropriate to be the first one there and represent VTCOA!

Great job. you need to take your show on the road to other schools. Just something to think about if you haven't already.

:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

Good job bud! That is a wake up call for the kids, i'm sure. If one kid gets the message and does not get behind the wheel after drinking it's all worth it.:congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

Awesome stuff Travis!!! I think you definitely gave them something to think about!!

yea i agree i wish my highschool would have had something like this we lost about 10 seniors to car wrecks my senior year

Looks like it went well Travis...:congrats: you ever get the bird to land, or they get tied up on a call?

We had a very similar simulation back when I was in high school. I wasn't expecting it to be as life-like as it was and it had more affect on me than I expected. I'm sure yours worked just as well or better. Thanks and congrats on a job well done :congrats:

Well the chopper that is station 10 miles away got a call right before we started and the other bird was down for maintenance. But it was alright without them. Would have been alot more dramatic though.
