I'm a quite conservative libertarian........

But, I believe all drugs should be legal.... Let a person's conscience decide......

Cops have more important things to do in protection and service to their communities.....Why waste precious police resources on chasing down an otherwise law abiding citizen who simply wants to relax with a doobie at the end of a stressful day....

It is certainly no worse than alchohol... In many ways it is far superior......

I agree. I don't smoke it but I think you should be free to do what you want to do with your body within limits. As long as you don't affect other individuals. Heck, free up law enforcement and the military for other crimes.

Ok I cant pass this one up ands it's strange bit of Trivia The reason canibis is illegal has nothing to do with the side effects (gettin stoned ) it was purly money motivated . In the 40-50's era there was a very weathy newspaper man named Hurst who spend much time and money lobbying Washington to make hemp illegal . Why because he also owned much of the lumber industy in Cali and Oregon and one of the by products of milling the logs was wood pulp used to make paper for his newspapers and anyone else . Now so happens hemp also produces paper pulp but cheaper and faster than wood . So knowing he would loose millions a year if this happened ,he just pushed Washington to see his side and ban it . Farmers were even paid to grow hemp in the even we could not make synthetic rope we could fall back on it .Also seems the Gov does not know the differance between hemp and canabis as the first you could smoke all day and only expect a headache LOL
Things that can not be patended are swept under the table cause surly if it doesnt profit the corprate world or cost a lot of money it's bunk . Now strange they call herbs bunk but spend millions trying to copy them syntheticly and pawn them on the public .
A funny twist to the above statement is they are going back to selling marinol in Canada and with so many getting thiier Rx from there they are now worried all the old hippies will get cheap and in the pill form POT as marinol is synthetic THC ROFLMAO
O and the answer is yes it should be decrimanalized not legalized
and spend their time eliminating herion or crack or some other destuctive drugs .

We could have fun with that thread hehehe. To tell the truth though, it doesn't really matter if it is legal or not, it is readily available and it is not a leo priority, at least if you are not growing a bunch hehe. It sure would be nice to have a couple plants out in the yard without having to worry about getting busted though.
