Those slant sixes are no slouch, had one myself back in the day...in a '64 Dart. Then I stepped up and got a '65 Dart GT with a 273 4-speed it was pretty cool, wish I still had that one.

My Toy !!!A little dirty, sorry !!!That's the only downfall with polished aluminum,a bitch to keep clean !!!!!!

guy that built the motor for my challenger has two darts ill give him a call and get back to ya.

Will that fit in a '71 Duster dash?

Mopwer, spoke with someone over the weekend, and he says that '69 through '74 (if I remember right) have the same shaped dash !!:dontknow: I can't swear to it,I've never had the chace to compare side by side !!! But if you're interested, let me know !!!:dontknow:

I believe it will fit.

I wish I could get it for my Duster, but not at this time.

Someone is going to get a very nice dash set-up.

Bill.

Dennis I called rocky mountain and asked them. Mike said to measure at the crease from side to side. I called the guy doing the paint on the Duster and got him to measure the best he could with the cluster still in the car. He said it looked like 17 1/4 inches from side to side measured at the crease ( bend). If you still have it please measure it and let me know. Thanks David

Here's some pics for ya !!!The front side to side measures 20 !/2",the rear from the outside to outside of the gauges themselves is 17 1/4 !!!

Ran pretty decent for what it was too !!! I did at one time have a 528/276 cam in that sucker, but never got the chance to run it !!!Somehow, the cam gear that drives the ditributor and oil pump decided to shed a few teeth !!Miraculously it didn't do a damned thing to the plastic gear on the end of the distributor !!!:dontknow: Its best time in the 1/8mi was a 9.89 !!!In COLD weather (it liked it kold) !!!!Norms were 10.10's !!!

Dennis we measured and remeasured and that panel just won't fit. The only way to make it fit would be to start cutting on it and I would rather not cut on a 1000.00 guage panel! Thanks for reposting those pics with the measurements.

No problem, but it's not the panel that was the expensive part (it was only $200),$50 to texture powder coat, the gauges are what cost me,those suckers were $800 !!!!But it's every gauge you would hve on a factory dash too !!!Hell, maybe I'll get lucky and find another Dart to put them in !!I've got a brand new set of Small bolt pattern 15" Rallye wheels w/trim rings and center caps just sitting in the boxes !!!:dontknow:
