Lookin for some pics of some Mopar LT headers installed that have been ceramic coated,post away,I haven't got mine coated or installed yet.?Thankx in advance.:rock:
 
I never got these installed before I sold the truck, but here's some pics of ceramic coated ones ready for installation if that helps.

Yes, stock fuel rails and stock fuel pump...but we are at max...but not racing it any more...so should be good for this old fart.
 
Yes I did before I had them coated...for the first two years they were wrapped not coated...the engine compartment was HOT...and there was a spot on each side where there was some slight melting of the wheel well liners.

Once they were coated the engine compartment temps were greatly reduced and no more problems with liner melt. I don't know for sure but I would estimate that the engine compartment temps were reduced by maybe 50 to 80 degrees after the coating.

Cooler air through the throttle body, the more timing can be advanced without detonation...every degree helps...

Maybe the ones are eBay are copied from Roy, but that's Roy's engine...

Dunno where you were, asleep as usual I would imagine...:p ;) It was about a year ago...

Correct decision on the coating BTW, you will NOT be sorry you took the time to do it.
