Ok folks, here we go:
(1) 40' x 180' = $2400.
(1) 40' x 60' = $950.

Subtotal: $3350.
Tax: $221.

TOTAL: $3551.
(same prices as last year)
We currently have 27 trucks listed in the tent count thread. That's about $132./ea.
If we get 35 or 36, that brings us to the $100./ea. mark. Those two tents will give us plenty of shade and plenty of room for humans as well. This will also leave us a big section of 'grassy knoll' area for those who want to be in the sun.
LAST DAY TO SEND YOUR TENT CHECK IN IS: FRIDAY, JULY 27th.
Total and where to send it will be coming up shortly.
The tents will be in a T-shape in the "Viper Pit" area. The 180' tent will be along the East side (where it was last year), and the 60' tent will be perpendicular to it, extending west.
The tents are NOT connected. There will be about 20-30' between them.
The 60' tent should hold approx. 10-12 trucks, "butt to butt". This tent will favor RC's, and those who want to go 'in and out' regularly.
The 180' tent should hold approx. 16-18 trucks. The ones in front will be parked facing the dragstrip; the back row will be perpendicular to those in front.
No one seems to know how or why the tents come in 20' sections but the stakes are every 8'. It's like that hot dog/hot dog buns fractional algebra you have to do at the grocery store.
I'm doing my best to get us tents with 10' between the stakes. If not, we're smart folks; we can figure out a solution.
Now, who wants to do the collection/check writing for the tents?
