Kevan, I got all wrapped up at work this week and forgot about this. I just paypalled you $103 for my part. I won't have a truck there so I don't need a space.

try 100% humidity and call meKevan said:TENTS = PAID!!!
The tents are already up. I'm headed out to the track in the morning to take a look and make sure everything is correct.
I will also talk with the tent company folks about an entry/exit section on the big one and get that squared away.
NowWhat would have loved it here yesterday....solid rain all day long.Today though, sunny skies and 90F (and about 85% humidity! Ugh).
Everyone ready?

We have the large white one (40 x 180, largest one at Nats) along the back fence, and the blue/white one (40 x 60).
It's not exactly how I wanted it set up, but that's partly my fault. I thought I had explained it well enough to the organizers. Next time I will draw out how we want it done and fax it over to the tent guys.
It's my first time doing this event, so cut me some slack.
The red/white tent belongs to a vendor (restoration shop from WI).
There is another 40 x 40 tent going up next to our blue/white tent (towards the track).
My plan was to have the smaller of our tents available to those who want to race/go in and out all day. That's now not going to happen. There's only access on ONE f-ing side of the blue-white tent.
I think we should get as many trucks into the large tent as possible, and use the smaller tent for BBQ, food, beer, people space. We'll try that on Friday and see how it works. If it blows, we'll change it on Sat. and Sunday.
Also, they did do a good job with spreading out the guy ropes nice and wide for the large tent, but the f-ing support stakes are the same as last year (just under 8' wide). We'll have to do the A-frame trick again this year (Bone- can you give us a hand with setting that up?) I think (2) entry/exit points on the large tent will work fine.
I'm going to ask if we can use a different tent vendor next year. That 7'10" stake width is killing me.
If anyone is pissed about the small tent and not being able to use it for their truck, let me know and I'll get you a refund at the event.
Thanks everyone!
I can bring my power tools and make an entrance/exit.Kevan said:Also, they did do a good job with spreading out the guy ropes nice and wide for the large tent, but the f-ing support stakes are the same as last year (just under 8' wide).
