How much hp/tq does this give compared to the other ones... i also hear the mopar chip does not void the warranty, and that is wat im looking for:rock:

thanks
John

We didn't baseline his truck but, if memory serves me correct, FastOne's truck made just over 440 rwhp with the upgraded Mopar Performance PCM, Gibson shorties and a Magnaflow catback. The benefits are not so much a peak hp increase as opening up the low end torque where you need it most. I'm putting one on my truck with my rebuilt engine.

I see ur on the third engine. What are u doing to the new motor

Don't know about an '05, but I paid about $360.00 for the one in my '04.

Are you happy with the results it gave you?

Anyone know the differences between this unit and a flash from DC\Boomer\whoever?

After talking to the tech @ DCX (srt division), the mopar PCM is way detuned (for warranty) for obvious reasons....not worth the $$ in my opinion...I would spend a little more and go with a more aggressive tune from one of the vendors (DC performance). If worried about the warranty issue, then order the whole PCM w/ the tune and keep your original one for backup. You also reap the benefits like the 170 Temp programming, and a few other tricks not found in the Mopar flash!

I agree with Red. Better results have been posted with DC, BG or Boomers flash. I have a DC Performance Stage II in my regular cab and it really woke it up on the bottom end.

I didn't notice a big improvement, (seat of the pants measurement), but it has a little more low end torque and more agressive exhaust note. It also will prevent a code when you run catless mids as I do.

You can get the Scan Gauge and clear the codes. Also, see what your timing is doing per RPM.
