Is this worth bidding on? Any experience with this controller, any performance gains?

I've heard good things about that controller. There are some here using them. You will need to find out if it's for the RC or QC. And you'll have to have your VIN programmed into it (local dealer??) and there's usually a cost involved to do that too. $150 - $200. I just looked and the P4510918 is listed as fitting the '04.

Thanks for the quick reply ! I asked him what truck did it fit...any idea what these things cost new? I have a friend who's a viper tech at the local dealer who might be able to do the VIN programming for me. Hmmm..i have an 05....wonder if that will make a difference?

Yes, it makes a difference. The part number on that one is for an '04 and it won't work on the '05. '05 has a different part #.

The difference like silver said is find out if its for a QC or RC.

If I remember correctly dodge only made those for the 04 models. And it wont work on any other year.

thanks...I'll wait for answer, although as it looks to be for an 04, probably pass on it. BTW, Great site! Just saved me from wasting some $$ on a part that wont work on my truck.
