More front drop

I have a x metal 1"-2" drop on my truck and am thinking I need another 1/2" to 1" drop to the front. If I change the springs should I change the shocks also? What is the best idea here? Afraid if I go with a different vendor their 2" drop might be different.

depends on the distance you have now between the tire and fender.

on the front you can get away with almost 1.5 inch dropand not change the shocks. but in the rear much more than 2 inch and you run into a couple problems , one the driveshaft possibley bottoming in the tranny, the other suspension travel, same on th front, suspension travel
