I lost the info when I moved, but if you go back and do the research you will find that alot of the positive things that Clinton has been given credit for were actually the result of republican legislation passed before he took office and legislation that he signed under pressure from the then republican controlled congress.
Wellfare reform was one of them he did not want to sign, but after it became obvious that it was successful now takes credit as if were his idea.

It's funny too.... Billy was the only president in that group that served his term in peace-time (Well, except for that darn Korean thing everyone forgets about. ), and in the middle of the biggest financial (tech) boom of the history of the USA.... but, that balanced budget was all his doing, right? It is a very simple truth...and our children and grand children will understand the importance.

Strange how the simple facts are just so ignored...

I am a republican, but the Clinton achievement in this area is what every President needs to focus on for then next thirty or forty years because of republican Presidents in the past 25 years.

I don't believe that the minimum wage is meant as a living wage for a family. It is meant for you to work and gain skill thus gaining a higher station in life.

To use this is just pure class warfare. Quit handing a able body people money, if they don't have a job make them earn there social benefits (cleaning government property). It will cause them to work harder in the end.................

I believe that Clinton inherited a raising economy that was over hyped due to companies like enron and world com, and the fake Internet business boom. And absolutely destroying our greatest asset the military
