Road & Track wrote that there will be a 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hemi Hellcat 707 HP Motor. It will be the most powerful sedan ever. With more horsepower than the 621 HP Mercedes S65 AMG, the 616 HP Bentley Flying Spur & the 593 HP Rolls-Royce Ghost V. They said the new Hellcat engine will not fit under the hood of the Viper, so no Viper Hellcat in the near future. So you new owners of the Hellcat Challenger & Charger while prowling around for Fords, Chevys & the above mentioned slow pokes, you might want to look up a Viper car or two before they do something with their engine. Still waiting for them to put this engine into a RAM, but with my luck they will put it into a Town & Country Van before a RAM.

Hey Carson, it clearly states a Dodge Charger (not Challenger) which is a 4-door SEDAN.

Hi,

there are certainly more powerful sedans out there that you can buy, but i dont think that any of those will have such a great Price/performace Ratio as the Hellcat cars.

Looking Forward to see one someday here in Germany.

Then your driving a Turd, i mean furd. have fun with that. Price out a shelby with the listed mods, then price out the hellcat which shall i say is 100% stock. doesn't matter what you have someone is always faster. Give it a couple years and there will be tunes out for the hellcat.

I 100% stock at 800 hp so what your point

That car is not stock. A stock Shelby is 662hp, if anything is done to a car after it leaves the factory it is no longer stock.

Shelby made a few models gt350 GT 500 662 super snake 850 super 1000 1000 hp GTS all stock from Shelby American icn
Shelby American is not a manufacturer, they are a tuner. If you want to compare tuner cars, I can have a "stock" 1200hp GTR from any number of places.

Once you have your car / truck papers stating the company on it, you know what you bought.

Basically from law point of view it is a certain percentage that you change on an automobile which defines, if you create a new brand or keep the badge and name of the OEM.

Brabus in their early years for example used to modify Mercedes Benz cars that came from the dealer. Nowadays they buy raw chassis and parts and do their own assembly with own parts, thats why their cars dont have a mercedes badge nore the name of mercedes in their official and legal car papers.

Btw. Brabus produces also the worlds fastest and most powerful sedan, but as mentioned before it is far away from the price / performance ratio that the hellcat can offer.:D

We do not know just he said the hellcat is better I said no the Shelby is bette

The new 697bhp Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is unlikely to be the last word in handling, but it’s on the drag strip where it’s really expected to impress. However, in repeated 0-60mph tests from The Fast Lane Car, the Hellcat really struggled to get all of its near-700bhp muscle down on the tarmac, with the best result being a dissapointing 4.7 seconds. Still very brisk, but considering the power, we were expecting a much quicker time than that.

TFL did admit the conditions weren’t the best, but given the unruly way in which the Hellcat puts down the power, some have called into question the logic of having 275 width rear tyres with such a huge output from the engine. Needless to say, none of this stops us wanting one of these beasts for ourselves any less.

Don't worry, we get it. You are upset because the Hellcat is the top factory muscle car on the market. As a Mustang owner, you are upset about this. And while you realize that your tuner Mustang is faster/more powerful than the stock Hellcat, you need the world to know it too. You are among friends here, Amigo, and we will be more than happy to help you through this difficult time. :D
