motor question

ok guys well i got my motor broke in or wel i've done the milege but it's still smoking on start ups and a little an idle? do yall think it's normal or whats up whats yall thoughts on it? i'm getting kinda worried:dontknow:

it's a grey kinda smells like oil at first but then it smells like fuel...an rember my rings are set up alittle loose for nitrous and the motor has only about 600 miles on it...an it was around 70 degrees today

o it runs great...like a bat out of hell... it's starting to clear up.. my builder said it was fine and anew motor smoke a little bit until the rings get set... but then again i know nothing about having a new motor

i have had a bunch 3 i believe never smoked like your talkin about just do a compression check its easy and cheap please i have seen a brand new 4ok viper motor take a dump with less than 300 miles

ok i'll get on it first thing in the morning will also be calling my builder to...to see if he has any insight...an it's got a 1 year warrenty so hopefully nothings messed up but then again if it is then it'll get taken care of i'm not even on full syn oil yet

Thats what I was thinking HiPo rings usually take longer to seat. You should have no problems just giver another 500 miles before you run er like a raped aped.jmo:burnout: :burnout: :marchmellow:

i've been beating on it pretty hard.... i pulled a z06 on the interstate today lol form 3rd 4th and he finally passed me after i had to get into 5th but he had to catch up from a little over a truck length lol:rock: poor guy still had paper plates it looked like a 06 model

from my experience when a motor smokes on start up i always check for crossed wires
