Well I made a decision on where to send the motor to get it fixed. They are called Wegner motorsports up here in Wisconsin. They have a pretty big operation. They make motors for the Busch and Craftmens truck series. They lease motors to both serie's teams. It was interesting. I will post pictures when I get the parts back.

I must have missed the thread. I take it you had some sort of prob. I bet the guys up there will love working on a Viper!! What all are you going to have done?

about 1500 to fix the:
block ( includes the sleve and boring), head, and then machine both heads and the block
check the crank and polish it
check the cam and polish it
There are a few other things that they do.

options for extra $ will be (after inspection)
New valves in the heads
hand polish out the exhaust ports (they don't have a CNC program for viper heads)
They think it would be about $700 to return it to me in a short block form
