mpg with paxton

im interested in getting a paxton supercharger for my quad cab. for those that have it, what mpg have you been getting? also, would i have to upgrade the entire tranny? thanks

MPG.......will vary obviously but....I am getting 9.5 around the city.....which is almost the same as I got w/o it....really only sucks gas when you are heavy into the boost...

Yes is the answer on the Tranny...but a $1000 - $3500 build will get it done....

If you stay out of boost your mpg will be the same as before the Paxton. I think I was getting around 5mpg while doing some drag racing earlier this year. I had cleared the mpg average in the overhead computer just to see how bad it could get. I need to shoot for a lower number I'll see how she does when I do some roadcoarse racing over the course of 2 days at the end of the month.
