So I've been using this to wash my cars since around 02 or 03 and was wondering if anyone else uses it to wash thier SRT-10. Heres a couple of pics from the last wash, probably gonna wash it again today and if weather permits I'm gonna do a claybar/wax job on it it too.

Here's how crazy I am... I invested in a $2000 whole home water softener (mainly just so I wouldn't have water spots on my cars).. There are other benefits to a water softener too,,, but I love not having to worry about hard water spots on my vehicles.

Thats funny,I did the same thing last summer too! LOL!:burnout:

I use the mr. clean too. works pretty damn good, still have to towel her off though and change the filter more frequently than recomended. (water is pretty hard here)

looks good. i used it a long time ago and then switched to some other stuff when a former friend showed me some things.

i just dont understand why you blocked out your license plate number in the pics?

i mean when you drive it on the road everybody can see the plate number:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

^^ Ohh lol, no. It's more of a hiding the license plate number just incase something happens and I gotta get something fixed under warranty:D I also take off my plates when I goto the track cause they take pictures there too, and post it in the monthly motor magazine that the only dodge dealer on this side of the island gets a stack of copies of. Same reason I scrub off all the rubber from under the rear of the truck if it has to go to the dealer. But I can post up pics with the plates, vin#, and a hot steamy love note in the engine bay for the girls on the Vette if you like:D lol j/k. Other than that I don't know why :dontknow: Maybe cuz I stay Potogee bah!:D Here's my photobucket album http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd320/ViperPowa/?start=0

Right on though, thanks guys, I didn't get to do the claybar and wax yet cause of all the damn rain. Last time I did it was the first time I ever used a claybar, and it took me from 12:00pm to 12:19am to claybar and hand wax the whole truck. Minus some time for a trip to town to get more wax and showtime spray, couple meals, a few smokes, and always having to reposition the truck under the tarp cause of the rain that day. So never again while it's raining out. Used the mothers claybar kit from frickin walmart and the mothers carnuba wax, but it worked and the truck looked cherry. Think this time I'll use the same claybar kit, and try see how it looks with a few coats of the tech wax.

Yeah the shipping company that shipped my truck to the dock on the west coast from where I bought it in Arizona damaged my front bumber, was a big fukin mess we had to go through cause we paid for them to ship ONLY my truck on the trip. They squeezed 2 trucks and thats when they damaged my bumper. Then they were trying to deny damaging it, but our salesman did the inspection before they shipped it and it was flawless, so they couldn't fuk us over. Then they were being picky on who we took the truck to for the inspection, then dicking around on payment. The bodyshop they ended up settling on takes ridiculous amounts of vacations and we had to reschedule numerous times cause of thier vacations, but it's to the point where now when the truck goes in, along with the new front bumper they are going to give us a nice amount of cash along with it cause of how long we have been waiting.

I use the Mr. Clean system, works great!

The water here is pretty nasty, and like Scot, I have to change the filter a little more often than they say, but it's worth it to be able to wash, rinse, and walk away.

Works good on the windows, and the chrome...
