How easy does what was added to the grills come off and does it leave anything behind?

Hotrodjim1 PMed me about them this morning and I'm waiting to hear back but the material is simply zip tied in place over the honey comb. So simply snipping the zipties would release the mesh as there is no glue or other adhesive.
