My 10 is as fast as my C5 FRC Vette, I predicted right on the money!

So this weekend I joined Tooloe at the track, but instead of the 10 I brought out the Vette. Now first off, the Vette is about as stock as the 10 with only exhaust, CAI, and 3.90 gears. I was on street tires and could only muster a 2.08 60ft compared to the 10's 1.97 on street tires.

Times were as follows, have to get the slips to make sure of the 1/8 times.

C5 Vette SRT10 Ram
60ft. 2.08 60 ft. 1.97
1/8 8.90 @80ish 1/8 9.04 @ 80 ish
1/4 14.3 @ 104.5 1/4 14.3 @ 103.5

I have predicted this and even told many before that the Vette was as quick as the truck and many didn't believe! I wanted to believe the Vette was faster but can tell the truck wasn' t no punk when I took out a C6 Vette that was an Auto. It's also hard to compare an Auto and 6 speed(Vette) as far as power on the street. Well, I am proud to say I "hit the nail on the head"!;)

Now I need more powa for them both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE FRC VETTE IS LIGHTER THAN A REGULAR C5 VETTE. IF THE REGULAR C5 IS RUNNING LOW 13S STOCK THE FRC SHOULD BE BETWEEN 12.9-13.1@ AROUND 106-108. MY FRIEND HAS ONE AND IT WEIGHS 3050LBS

Sorry, hate you cannot edit a post after so long on this forum? It is indeed 13.4!! Still not fast enough though.

Yeah, the hot ass night had alot to do with it I'm sure. They should, as you posted, run 12.9 stock. I am 3.90 geared, tuned, and CAI/Exhaust and that 13.4 was best I could muster outta 4 runs. Of course it was the first time ever launching the Vette at the track but 60ft times were identical between the 10 and Vette.

NOT BAD CONSIDERING THE WEATHER AND FIRST TIME AT THE TRACK AT THE TRACK...

HERE IS A VIDEO OF MY TRUCK RUNNING AGAINST A FRC VETTE 6 SPEED ON DRAG RADIALS AND INTAKE FROM FROM A 30 ROLL. THIS WAS BEFORE MY 4.56 GEARS, PULLEY, AND NEW TUNES I HAVE GOTTEN.

THE SECOND RUN WAS THE BETTER RUN FOR ME AND I ACTUALLY SHIFTED GOOD IN EVERY GEAR.

ALL RUNS INTHE TRUCK WERE N/A ON 22'S

I wish I could say that my 10 is as fast my old c6, but isn't. I can say my 10 is way more badass and I like it way better! It is definitely rarer and has more presence.
