Diablo is plenty good for mildly modded cars, my buddy with a 426 stroker has the tranny control module and he wasnt overly impressed with it.

So for a beginner, leave it in drive and punching it is the way to go?

Yes but the Mopar tcm is fun too.

Yes, and when something expensive breaks and she doesn't want to race no more you can say you were right. There is no major gain from her shifting manually on a basically stock SRT. Its all fun and lets keep it basic till she gets comfortable with the car. I already know that car is good for 13 flat with a good driver, I am trying to keep it simple for a newbie.
