Has anyone's seatbelt alarm go off even when you have your seatbelt on? I tried putting in the pass. side belt and it still stays on. My damn warranty ran out this month. Build date is 02/23/05. Does my warranty last the whole month or did run out on the 23 rd? TIA!

your warranty starts from the " in service" date, which is the day the vehicle is purchased.

look in the owners manual under the seat belt section. you can set it to where only the light comes on. no alarm at all.

I talked to Bob Pforte Dodge in Marianna, Fl. That is where the truck was bought new. They said the warranty doesn't go out until 8-31-09.

But if I have my seatbelt on, shouldn't the light go off and quit friggin dinging?

Anyway, the guy says he'll look at it today. Thanks, guys!

it should. when you do get it fixed that will take care of the dinging problem

slowly push the throttle down and turn the radio volume up. problem fixed, no more ding. or atleast you cant hear it.

HECK, Unplug it.

that is also the remedy for shifter noise to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took it and had it hooked up and it threw no codes. They just ordered me a new buckle.

You can get rid of that annoying ding after you get it fixed. It's in your owners manual. Forget the process, turn key 3 times put belt on,take off ,put back on or something like that.I do wear my seatbelt all the time but in traffic or waiting to leave a game or concert its nice not to be trapped in a freaking seatbelt.Check it out. That stinking ding will drive ya crazy!

Your a sick man Dragon, but I like it - roflmao bro

another way to silence the ding is to check your manual and follow the instructions for turning the damn thing off :)

better than that just go under seat to the 2 prong plug that goes to seatbealt receptical there are just two wires make you a small jumper and ,skin the wire ends,,shove it into connector light and ding ding is gone forever
