My First Race

The wife and I was out for a Sunday drive when I pull up behind a red diesal at a stop sign with a 6 or 8 inch stack comming out of the middle of the box. He saw me and takes off like a bat out hell on to hwy South 79 back to Rapid. I told the wife I'm going to catch him and see how fast he really is.

I caught him and we kick down at 65 mph and raced to 135 mph and I had by 6 truck lengths and when we got back to Rapid he gave me the thumbs up.

The wife asked me what the fine would be if I got picked up and I told her you don't even won't to know.

I told two guys about the race and they asked me how bad did I get beat and I told them I didn't. They said the diesal had twin turbo's made alittle over 650 hp and over 1100 torque. I thought I did pretty good for a few add on's. NVR2OLD to race.:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

I think if he had 650 hp and over 1100 torque you would have got pooped on :dontknow: Did he stay with you for awhile?

I pulled on him all the way to 135 mph. I think he would have got me from a dead stop. Don't get me wrong the diesal was fast and I think he toped out about 130 mph. His dad told me it made hp. I guess I was luckly.

those diesels are finicky...some are stupid fast, some aren't...

my buddy has an f250 with 650 hp, and 980 lb.ft. and i leave him from a dig, and from a roll...

Good kill...I hate diesels as hi-po vehicles...they are made for pulling cattle trailors....

my brother had 650/1150 on his mega cab and I could smoke him w/ out the NOS. his truck was so fun to drive though...it was lifted on 35's...no one dared stay in the left lane when that came barreling up!
