Just wanted to tell you that were truly missed last night Bro.:(

Because of your "world travels" and my hectic schedule at the plant, we haven't had as much time to hang out as we were used to doing in the past.

Just thought I'd let everyone know what a big heart Anthony has. We had been texting and pm'ing for the last few days about our GTG last night. All in all, about 20 peeps showed up, but it wasn't the same without him there.:argh:

Down to an hour before we were supposed to meet, everything was a go then 30 min. before the meet I missed his phone call. He then sent me a text that he didn't think he wouldn't be able to make the hour drive to only turn around an drive back after 30 minutes with us.

REASON: To take care of his daughter.

I don't know how many of you have not had the opportunity to meet Anthony firsthand......but, you're truly missing out........

He's been a great friend, confidant and I have seen on MANY occasions a prime example of a loving father.......

I can't begin to tell you how many meets he has brought his daughter to at the last minute, because he wanted to attend ..... and didn't want to leave her with just anyone.

Bro, you are a living example of exactly how I would be with my children if I had any.......
:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

There will always be another meet. Angelica is one lucky girl....period.:slug:

Met Anthony at the Macon GTG. Great guy, great cook. The man serves a mean brisket and barbecue sauce. Everything he prepared was excellent and I enjoyed just sitting and talking with him about the work he does. Interesting stuff.

Anthony rocks, he was one of the first members I met. When we went down to Houston for the big doins a couple of years ago. All you guys down there are top flight in my (and Spousal Unit's) book... :burnout:

I have not had the pleasure of meeting him yet. He seems like a hell of a guy, and I can see he is one HELL of a cook.

Bill.

You are exlactly right slow91, Anthony is definitly a man most men should try to be like.
just one example....

at the Macon GTG Ironhead got a call about his wife, when Anthony found out he went nutts, he found out Ironhead was laying down for an hour and then heading home, Anthony stayed up as long as he could to hopefully ride with Ironhead because he was worried he would drive too fast home. When Anthony couldnt stand it no longer he sent Ironhead a text to call him before he left. And Iron head being the man he was ,wanting to make sure Anthony got his sleep, snuck out.
but Anthony had promised his daughter he would be home by a certain time, and instead of getttin a good nights sleep, layed down for a bit and left out and drove the entire wway home jsut to be with his daughter:rock:

and to boot, he texted many of us when he was on his way to and from Macon to let everyone know where he was and how they were doing.

He is a good friend, and and even better father:rock:

Believe me Bill once you two meet, you will be the best of friends.  These GTG's are so damn important.

antnee is a stand up guy. i honored to call him my friend.

The only thing that scares me about Antnee, is he cooks so well I'll gain 20 pounds when I meet him.:D

Bill.

He's a good dude for sure. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Dallas at Laps for Charity:rock:

Awe heck, you guys actually got me a-blushin' enough to do a ghey curtsy.. But it's really all of you fellow members I bow to because you all got me this way.:congrats: The amount of interest and caring I see folks showing towards one another here is awe-inspiring and gives me incentive to be myself and show that same great love towards everyone this post reaches. What I did in Macon for the GTG is nothing, and to be honest it wouldn't have been so successful without Bone (Dave) opening up his home for us that night.. I would do it 1000 times over just to see you guys smile. And why you ask? Because I have no doubt you guys would do it for me. In fact that's been proven time and time again in many ways.

As for my friend Esh (slow91), I wanted to be there and hang out so bad last night. #1900 was even washed and polished up for the occasion. But as you mentioned I just couldn't make it since my little one needed me and in her mind I’m about all she has (regardless how much family she constantly has around her).

But this thread caught me off guard and I appreciate your observations and the things you said in the opening post. I guess I am too modest to think that way about myself and I just like to see people around me happy. We definitely have to hook up soon and catch up. Staying away from each other so long just isn’t cool.

Stinker you know what you did for me recently brother. I didn't want to mention it openly because really it isn't something one would want to make a habit of. But it's been burning in me ever since I was still in Norway to yell out “THANK YOUâ€￾ buddy. I don't know very many people that would have quickly said okay to such a tall request. I was expecting for you to say you couldn't (at least a stutter), but you didn't and shocked the hell outta me. Which reminds me, I received confirmation today that the account will be replenished by Friday the 5th so be expecting a square up soon bud.:D And again, THANK YOU!..

There are many others around here that have shown me friendship and special interest. Steve Holden (Texas Yellow Fever) is always quick to help me out when I call him. The man just doesn't say he can't.

OSO, z-man, silverqc, IronHead, BigIke, Blaine, BigRed... Lot's and lot's to list that had a hand in making me the way I am with everyone. That's just the Houston crew. Taliban Dan, eddie, Griff'sSRT, FatJack, Scrambler1, ntw0rk, NBT, Mutt, labontecsi, FSTJACK, Sickness, Borden, ROZ, 5_0 Bait, HotRam, Brat.. The list goes on; I'd be here all night.

All I know is I see great friends here having a ball in person or online. I consider you all my friends and I don’t forsee that changing. :congrats:Bravo VTCoA.. How could I ever regret this place?
