My new 10 feels SLOW

I do agree something seems wrong here. If I do a 4k dump I get sideways in the road . I did some test digs out today and with the new tires from a 5 mph dig there is now smoke show here .Just some scerrt and she takes off like a rocket, but if i do even a 2,500 drop and hammer on the go peddle its a smoke show till i decide to stop it .Maybe it has upgraded clutch and factory Hydraulics. Slipping a little just not burning the clutch up?

I am way to new here to give any real advise , just trying to help.

Ok, I don't usually recommend this...and those of you with FI, do not try this...test the clutch in 4th gear, 40 miles an hour...go WOT hard, I think you will find that your clutch is slipping...the rpm will probably hit the rev limiter if my hunch is correct...without much go...

Careful...please.

I've tested the clutch. no slippage at all. I've even dont the 50 mph in fifth, repeatedly.

Hey Greg can't tell for sure but in your clutch drop video,
your exhaust after the shift sounds like a big boat
of a car with small single exhaust.:dontknow:

Could just be the video.

Is the exhaust stock? Have cats? If so maybe clogged?

Does the motor rev OK or is it slow to come up?

Nobody here live around Greg for a quick compare?

Yea, maybe a walk aroudn video of the truck and have your wife, in the cab revving it up

Before I got my DC Stage II I raced my co-workers 04 gt mustang. He has a BBK throttle body, CAI. catback etc.. At a 30 mile roll we went and I left him by at least 3 car lengths till he just gave up. He will not race my now that I have the DC Stage II in it. He said all I could see was your license plate getting smaller. I gave him a ride in it on Friday and from 30 I nailed it and his blue tooth headset flew off his head and into the street.

and I changed the plugs today. Had OEM's gapped at 40. I replaced with OEM's gapped at 35

greg, can you tell any difference in the change or spark? The truck sounds right, does it fell like it is still lagging? You said 2 hours away from a Dyno, I would make an appointment and see if something is up? If it is stock, than I am sure the air/fuel is still at Dodge Specs, which is way out there SCT bro

what brand of muffler did PO put on that ,,,sounds choked down even from a stock muffler ,you even had to roll down window to really hear it good ,here is a tire roaster pic

and you did get an 04 with the small rear gear ,,the 04,s only have a 410 gear in it ,,you need to at least switch to the 456 ,,

Well I noticed one thing from that video, you are over-reving the shit out of it. You are going to 6000 RPM, WAY too much. I think your exhaust is restrictive, but even if it wasn't you are reving too high. I suggest you shift at 5200 RPM, NO HIGHER!

Trust me on this, these truck slow down after 5200 RPM even when the exhaust flows great.

Next time try dropping the clutch at 3000 RPM, and pull your shift at, or before 5200 RPM.

And as I said before, open up your exhaust.

Is that tire roaster pic holding the brake? or just popping the clutch?
