my new project custom carbon fiber parts

i started my new project last night removing my k&n cai and cutting the carbon. today i started the tedious task of making the carbon fiber cai box. it looks awesome so far all the pieces are drying now so when i get them togther ill post more pics..

looks like it will be about 6lbs, i did it for cosmetics but by the time i get done doing all the parts i can it should add up.

Very interesting...someone else was exploring just how many parts could be constructed of carbon fiber...please keep the total as you proceed and keep us informed...

I'd love to do something like that! I have all of my electronics packed in around the factory ECU, and need to make a 3-sided enclosure to hide and protect all of it.

Anybody know if this carbon fiber piece will not heat up as much as the metal k and N one does?
