Just getting back into it now. I used to go to Jim Thorpe PA for Mountain Bike Weekend for a few years in a row. Had the Mt Bike Olympics, the huffy toss, riding with a tree stump attached to see how far you could go.

I just brought my bike into the shop for a full tune on Sunday. Getting new tires, and new inserts for my front shock. Not full suspension, but the front fork. Back then I was craving getting a DEAN.

Cool bike....yes I guess I raced on the road 12 years as a USCF cat.2 and was the district rep for Oklahoma for a few years after I retired from racing......I really don't miss the 300+ miles per week of training.....Also took a USA team of junior cyclists to Italy for a month as their coach to do races in Switzerland and Italy.....cycling will always be a special sport to me.

94 Trek 8700, Carbon Fiber main, Aluminum rear triangle, Shimano LX and XT components, mountain bike.....can't remember the last time I rode it :(

Cool. I just UpGraded to Cat 3 last year then had serious accident afterwards so I'm trying to get back into it. Used to ride CRC here in NYC.
Also did all major hill climbs on east coast and did Lake Tahoe Century

Last time I rode my bike I hit a tree, split my head open, and broke my arm...
Didnt hurt the bike o death though...lol

I am too big a guy to keep up with your tall rider body shape. My old boss got me into the Mtn biking in 92. Been an on and off thing through the years. Been at the gym riding 6 mi in 20 mins right now as a warm up.

Been riding my Mtn bike last few weeks though to get back into it. Used to be a member of CLIMB Community of Long Island Mountain Bikers. Was pretty cool. Have some decent trails out here too. Most notorious is Rocky Pt. trail. 13mi with tough inclines. Lots of weaving and tree limbs. Great views... Ever get a chance to come out east again (maybe to buy another SRT Maybe) ;) We can maybe to a loop.
