I've decided that my new exhaust has a great sound after hearing it from video. I though it sounded good but ya gotta hear from a different perspective and it's getting mad compliments. Tell me what yall think. I know Tooloe has gotten busy with school but I may take on the task of making yall kits to take to the muffler shop and they simply weld it up and go.:D

sounds GREAT - what mulffers did u go with ???? and is that with a cat delete ? stright pipes ??

I don't want to mention brand names yet as I just now after 4 tries think I found the 3" muffler that has the deep tone I want and no rasp and doesn't have any noticable popping on decel which I have learned DOESN"T have to be tuned out but rather acoustically tuned out!

Fact is that it is mufflered as I have a 2 yr old that occasionally rides so I need it quiet and without cabon monoxide fumes. Both I have attained thus far. It goes into a Cummins Diesel tone for about 400 rpm between about 1400-1900 rpm but has a mean V-8 ish idle and goes through a noticable hint of 10 then screams out a mean v8 sound.

She has been deleted of her cats but has 2 in place hollowed out for looks. ;)

After hearing so many of our trucks with similar exhaust I knew we needed another NON-Raspy, non-poppy,anti- annoying option and side exhaust is the shit. It is not obnoxious loud but has a bark for sure. These are standard mufflers that are rectangular and not tubes or glasspack style.

Sounds good.. But that truck looks weard sitting so tall with that tall wing.. I think ya gotta slam it to use that tall wing.. makes the truck look goofy..

just my opinion

flowmaster's ????

Nope no MoFasters! Ok yall are getting too close. Let me do some more R&D as far as noise levels, resonance, exhuast fumes, and fit and finish and I'll reveal the Muffler manufacturer. I have tried Flowmaster as they are one of the best mufflers out there sound wise ,but not on a 10.:( I have tried the Dynomax bullet, then the Magnaflow, on to the final one so far. IT has a little Cummins diesel with big pipes sound I just am not sure if I can live with yet. I am relocating the muffler in various places to try and tune that tone out. Other than that I am happy and have put 1,000 miles on this muffler and that's the longest any of the others made it. Ususally they were back off the same day or within days. :marchmellow:

sounds good, The mufflers under the truck look like spintechs ??? they are square like that, Anyway yes sounds different which makes it all the better.

Shoulda mentioned that as well but my truck is stock other than my "Homeboy" CAI. NO headers but deleted the cats. There are no mids as it is "OLE SCHOOL" just 3" from the hollowed cats out to the muffler and out.
